When not out catering private events, you can find Chef Dalan cooking through the open kitchen window at his hip downtown restaurant in Santa Barbara, serving up the most delicious and authentic plant-based Mexican cuisine. Dalan started out in the culinary world, slinging tortas out of his garage in Mexico. His journey has taken him far, now a successful restaurant owner in Santa Barbara, you can still find Chef Dalan volunteering to cook for community non-profits, teaching cooking classes about plant-based nutrition for the youth and elderly, or shopping at the farmer’s market supporting local produce vendors.
